Nightcap

1 oz chamomile honey simple syrup (see recipe below)

1 oz  fresh lemon juice

1 mL Humboldt Apothecary Deep Sleep tincture

 

Preparation

Make the simple syrup (recipe below). Mix with fresh lemon juice and Deep Sleep tincture. Mix ingredients in a mug and top off with hot water, or try with a splash of soda water and ice.

Chamomile honey simple syrup Pour ½ cup hot water over 2 chamomile tea bags and infuse for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, squeeze out water, and discard bags. Add ½ cup honey and stir to dissolve. Let syrup cool to room temperature. Makes about 1/2 cup. Extra syrup will keep refrigerated for up to two weeks.
